really good stay!
efficient staff organised management
the staff were professional. the management system seems very well organized. from check-in to breakfast, staff anticipated needs. the breakfast list had our package selections ready. my wife felt hopeful about hospitality again.
The parking situation was tough. I was not informed about the limited parking. i was turned away twice because the basement was full. i had to park elsewhere and pay extra. management was unavailable when i tried to address this.

fantastic experience, some minor issues
clean room glass front tasty breakfast
i enjoyed my time here. The room was clean and spacious, this was good. The lifts had glass fronts, which operated quickly. The breakfast buffet was varied and tasty, THAT's a plus.
the windows allowed howling wind noises, as the sealing has worn. The bath tap handle was not secured. The escalators from the ground floor to the first level conference rooms were not functional.

the hotel is in a central location, so it is convenient. i found the area immediately in front of the hotel useful for arranging pickups with ride services. it added to the ease of getting around.

on arrival, i checked in quickly and efficiently. i was offered sweets from a complimentary sweet bar adjacent to the reception desks. a pleasant gentleman delivered my bags to my room.

rusted seats broken technogym bike
the breakfast variety was acceptable.
The gym was a letdown. Two of the three bicycles had rusted seats that i could not adjust. the technogym bike was also broken, it's unacceptable for a hotel of this supposed standard. i raised this with the duty manager, i was informed there was no budget to fix it.

excellent stay!
really good service buffet breakfast
I am grateful for the really good service. the staff packed our breakfast because we checked out early to catch our flight. i also enjoyed the amazing view of table mountain and the city from our room. the buffet breakfast was great. There were lots of options.
the room ventilation could be improved. the parking at the hotel is a problem, especially for travelers unfamiliar with the area. i was not informed of the limited parking until i was turned down due to the basement being full.

the hotel is near many activities. a free shuttle provides transport to and from the waterfront. supermarkets, pharmacies, and shopping areas surround the hotel. it is a very convenient area for visitors.
